Face of the day/Outfit of the day

Very natural make up today, wearing kiko eyeshadow in white with bourjois healthy mix gel foundation and gel blusher (really went to town on the blusher, wanted to look like a china doll!) and a pale pink lipstick from Japan. Clothes wise I’m wearing a topshop dress and my grandmothers bone necklace (I’m pescatarian but I figure inherited bone jewellery is ok).

Outfit of the day 10

Back in Newcastle to study. Went to Quilliam brothers today with some friends, it’s our favourite tea house and hangout in the city. The weather was gorgeous, wore my TK Maxx Paul Costello bag with a scarf print sale Oasis dress and “and other stories” sandals. Got a few compliments for the outfit, one lady even came up to me on the street and said my choice of dress was stunning! People always surprise you in their kindness! Hoping you all enjoyed the sunshine too!
Bookbinding

Been on a four day hand bookbinding course run by Shepherds in London. Thought I would include a picture of one of my finished books. Really happy with the result, it’s even got a built in book mark! (I’m very nerdy I know!). Have five new books now, there’s something really satisfying about hand made stationery.
Have a look at the website if you want, I include the link below

Mina/3ina Haul
Just been to Mina, a new make-up store similar to Mac or Kiko cosmetics in Covent Garden London. It is the only store of its kind in the uk, the only other one is in Greece. Had a blue makeover as was feeling adventurous and wanted to try their blue lipstick! The products are high pigment and high quality and average at around £7. I would particularly recommend the eye-shadow stick as the colours are gorgeously frosty but show up well on the skin. The matte lipstick is dramatic and long lasting. The powder eye-shadow was slightly disappointing, the blue I bought was fine but the mauve came out a little duller than it looked in the pan. Would defiantly recommend and give the brand a 9/10 for both value and quality. The next store is set to open in Manchester and currently there is an offer where you buy 3 products and get a free nail varnish.
The lovely blogger at Beige and Brunette has informed me that that the website is called 3ina not mina so thank you!

Outfit of the day 7
Lovely weather yesterday, turned a bit sour in London towards the evening but I dressed for the sunshine.

Dressed in Liberty charm necklace, Top from a holiday to Egypt, Skirt from Joy and shoes by keds. After trying to be more extravagant in my style I decided to put two butterfly clips in my hair, hope it adds that something extra!
