After I finish uni I plan to do a masters in photography. With this in mind on Tuesday I hired a place called mayfield studio for the day so I would have the equipment needed for a professional finish. I shot five people in total over 8 hours and really enjoyed the day. These are some photos of my friend Chloe which I took, she had 4 outfit changes and did a gorgeous halo braid for the shoot (makes me wish I had long hair!).

Spent the day in a photogoraphy studio building my portfolio. In my free time my friend took a photo of me, wearing blue mina eyeshadow, miss selfridge dress and topshop shrug and shell necklace. Having a lovely day!

Girl with a Pearl Earring Reworked

These are shots of Sam, a friend of mine at school. I was inspired by Vermeer’s “Girl with a Pearl Earring” and wanted to do my own with modern fashion and dramatic lighting. Hope you enjoy!

Ophelia

Some images from A-Level. This time slightly blurry as they were on film. I tried to shoot Charlie as a modern Ophelia in our school swimming pool. Slight disaster as the pool was double booked! The swimming class that usually ran were kind enough to let us use half the pool but it was really funny as the water kept making the flowers float away as they were swimming so hard! Anyway, hope you enjoy.

Have lots of thumbnails from A-level photography left and don’t really know what to do with them hence the additional photos! These were shot in the local fields where I live and our local church. Tried long maxi skirts, sheer lace with beads and floral crowns for a romantic feel. Hope you enjoy!

Some more photography of Charlie from A-level, dressed in a mixture of zara, vintage and new look. She’s very photogenic and confident in front of the camera and a pleasure to shoot. Went out into the woods near where I live and took some shots. Tried to make the shots look as romantic and ethereal as possible. Tried to catch the like behind Charlie to add a ‘fresh’ feel.
