Some more photography of Charlie from A-level, dressed in a mixture of zara, vintage and new look. She’s very photogenic and confident in front of the camera and a pleasure to shoot. Went out into the woods near where I live and took some shots. Tried to make the shots look as romantic and ethereal as possible. Tried to catch the like behind Charlie to add a ‘fresh’ feel. Hope you enjoy!

Portrait of Georgina
Hello again! Thought I’d upload some portraits I did of a girl called Georgina for A-level. The shoot was inspired by Gabriel Rossetti and I shot her in the style of a Pre-Raphaelite beauty. Wanted the shots to look languid and full of ennui! She’s a very talented photographer herself as well as model! I include her facebook photography page if your curious to see the work she’s done, she’s even worked for MUA! https://www.facebook.com/georginalukephotography/

Photography Portraits
Hello again! It’s a while back but I used to do photography for A-levels. I shot mainly fashion and portraits but unfortunately have lost many of the original thumbnails (well it has been five years!) I do however still have my sketchbooks intact and would like to show you some photos, bit by bit (not all at once), that I have taken. I hope that by starting this blog I will style and shoot more photos of friends as a hobby in my free time.
Firstly I would like to introduce you to three black and white portraits of Sam and Jessica. For these portraits I backlit the photos with a studio lamp and shot in black and white against a plain background. I was inspired by 1920s,30s and 40s portraits of film stars and tried to make my schoolmates look glamorous and serene, styling them in glass beads, velvet and even over coats to create a film noir effect.
I apologise in advance if the photos are a bit blurry as I had to take photos of photos as it were as I have lost the original thumbnails. I still have my A-Level sketchbook and print outs so not a total disaster! Hope you enjoy!

Art
Just wanted to do a quick introduction to my artwork and sketches. As an art student at Newcastle University I specialise in dip ink drawings. I include some sketches of internal organs such as lungs and hearts and muscle tissue line drawings. My own interest in internal organs stems from a love of medical illustrations, particularly renaissance. I love the functionality coupled with the beauty of them. In my own work I try to abstract illustrations I see and compile them into one. I also love the idea of a microcosm in a macrocosm, of things relating to seemingly unrelated subjects. Blood spots on internal organs always look like galaxies to me, like a tiny world within a world.Nature always seems to repeat different patterns beautifully. Nerve endings morph into roots, the beginnings of our blood ties and identities. Anyway before I ramble any more here are some photos of my sketches, enjoy!
